We were on the northern slopes of Dartmoor to see the sun rise on May Day morning 2008. Despite the gloomy weather forecast, the sun shone and we celebrated natures' new year by dancing at Nine Maidens. A small but stalwart crowd joined in the celebrations! | |

After a warming coffee,
time for a processional through Sticklepath, and some dancing at the
Devonshire Inn, before the weather got the better of us. We continued our dancing in the Village Hall, before retiring back to the Devonshire for a well-earned Devon breakfast. |
